Limits #

• Uploads: 15 MB per file, 20 files per upload. Whole folders can be dragged in.
• Connected-source imports: up to 100 files per document import.
• Categories: free text, up to 60 characters, shared across the workspace.
• Direct import: Markdown and text files are used exactly as written.

Common questions #

If I hide a document, can the assistant still use it?
Yes. Hiding affects the Documents library only. The assistant still answers from it.

Does ismee keep the files I upload or import?
No. ismee extracts the text, uses it to draft knowledge for you to approve, and discards the file. The approved knowledge is what is kept. Your original documents are not stored.

Does ismee stay connected to Microsoft 365 or Google Drive?
No. Both are a one-time import rather than a sync. ismee does not watch your files or update itself when something changes at the source. Import again to pick up a newer version.

What happens if I reject a draft?
The draft is deleted. Once an import has no drafts left, the working text from it is discarded. Discard All removes a whole import.

Who can see the "Built from" note on a knowledge file?
Administrators only, in Knowledge admin → Library. It never appears in the staff library or in any exported PDF.

Do people need an account to read the Documents library?
Yes. Documents requires signing in, like the rest of the app. There is no public link.

Do I need to install anything to export PDFs?
No. PDFs are produced on the server. A large handbook may take a few seconds.

Can I get my knowledge out?
Yes. In Knowledge admin → Library, select files and Download to get them as a zip of Markdown files.
